The route
This reef is exactly in front of Horto. When you start swimming from the beach you will notice the smooth bottom and the posidonian lawns, but you will never imagine that in few meters longer the scene is changing dramatically. The depth is increasing little by little and from 13m and on, complexes of rocks appears where every kind of underwater life finds shelter in there. Meetings with sting rays or other fishes are not rare. This place is perfect for scuba divers of all levels, because there are very interesting reefs reachable from the shore, in range from 15-23m up to 30+m.
