What you will see
For those visiting Pelion, a stop at the EPSA factory in Agria, is a unique experience.
Aside from watching the modern production procedures, visitors will have the chance to learn EPSA's history through the featured museum.
During the tour, visitors are briefed about EPSA's initial operations, which was ice production and fridges (the company’s Greek acronym Ε.Ψ.Α stands for Agria Fridge Company). Visitors also learn about the history of the glass bottle and the phases through time until its today classic shape.
They will also witness the “machinery” used during the past for the production of beverages.
“Machinery” that when viewed today impresses us, as with today standards it is unimaginable, that these tools could be used for making these famous drinks.
They will also get the chance to see the full product line of EPSA since not all of them are available in the markets.
The museum is also decorated by the 5 distinctive awards that EPSA has won, among works of art from artists inspired by the company’s products.
After a lot of special work and effort, a large collection of glass bottles is displayed from Greek brands that unfortunately today do not exist.
At the same area, one can see all printed adverts made by EPSA from 1950 until today and see the bottle evolvement through the ages.
Finally, worth mentioning is that every year around 2500 students visit the museum while many travellers stop by the factory to meet their favorite drinks.
