What you will see
The Drakia folklore museum of rural and cultural heritage hosted in the old mansion Triantafillou, with its wonderful carved doors and ceilings belonging to the community and renovated to host the village’s museum.
If you visit the museum, you will have the opportunity to admire closely over 140 exhibits originating from the rural and cultural life of Drakia and the wider area of Agria municipality donated by locals. The exhibits are from the pre and post war era as used by the around 30 donators by themselves or by their ancestors. The exhibit features various items like household items, agricultural production items, old tools, displays of agricultural and traditional crafts, jewelry, photographs, books, textiles, apparels while it is being constantly enriched by new donations and objects which are carefully maintained and showcased to the public either in groups or individually.
